The Safety Squat, often called the 'Squat Beeper' is a device used to help athletes come down to a full parallel position when squatting. Often, athletes don't realize they aren't coming all the way down to the parallel position when they squat; the Safety Squat keeps lifters honest. The Safety Squat beeps when you have reached the parallel position telling you to come back up.
