The AQx Aquatic Training Shoes are equipped with patented gills that add 20-30% more resistance in water, helping swimmers develop a more powerful kick. The shoes allow runners to work on proper mechanics in deep or shallow water, while adding appropriate resistance which makes water running feel more like land based running. They are also used for wall drills, shallow water plyometrics, and cross-training in deep water. The USA Triathlon National Team is cross training with the Aquatic Training Shoes and also utilize the shoes for rehab and recovery. Every pair of shoes includes a mesh storage bag. Sizing: The AQx Aquatic Training Shoes now come in Men's and Women's Sizes. Women's Whole Sizes: 6-10 Men's Sizes: 8-15 Read all of this for sizing: The shoes are meant for a snug fit. If someone typically wears a ½ size in a running shoe, we recommend that they round down a size. For example if you typically wear a size 10 and ½ shoe then you should round down to a 10 for the Aquatic Training Shoes. The drop down sizing also shows UK and European Men's & Women's Sizing. The Women's Sizing is noted with a B next to it. So a Men's Size 7 will be listed as Size 7, but a Women's Size 7 will be listed a 7B. So please select the appropriate size from the drop down.
