Rubber-Cal's Eco-Sport Tiles are a recycled rubber floor tile that are 1 inch thick and available in 5 aesthetically pleasing colors, Coal, Blue, Green, Terra Cotta, and Gray. With their thick 1-inch gauge, these tiles are designed to withstand the most abrasive conditions thus serving as a premium flooring and equipment protection product. These recycled rubber tiles are excellent for either indoor or outdoor applications due the high contents of EPDM (i.e. a UV/Ozone resistant elastomer) found in the recycled tire rubber. Recycled rubber is a superior material when trying to reduce noise, contain vibration, and absorb shock from workout equipment. These products are specifically manufactured for durability and are designed for either residential or commercial applications that are exposed to heavy foot traffic. Moreover, the space age polyurethane based binder used during manufacturing process enhances the anti-fatigue qualities found naturally in rubber. Each mat is fabricated from thousands of rubber granules and offers superior underfoot comfort and support along with the resilience to cushion the shock of running, exercising, walking and standing. One of the biggest concerns commonly associated with rubber flooring is the installation, therefore this product offers an interlocking mechanism (plastic connector pin), and the tile has three holes on each of the four sides resulting in six connector pins per tile. The connector pins are 3" long, made of hard black plastic with ferruled edges, which holds them in place inside the tile once they have been inserted. When coming to a wall, you can simply trim the tiles with a sharp utility knife and a straight edge guide to easily cut the product to your specific needs, making for a very simple and easy DIY installation that can be done by anyone.
